Vulgaris
Bean has always known he was never anything more than just a number: to the ants that claim to protect him, and to his fellow aphids. Until he met Oggie, that is - the first person to ever truly see him as an individual. With his new best friend by his side, there's nothing the world can throw at Bean that he can't handle with a smile!
... at least, that's what he thought.
A short, text heavy RPGmaker game made as an entry for the 2025 Yandere Jam. One ending, takes roughly 30 minutes to complete. As far as yandere stories go, this is pretty tame, so there aren't many content warnings! The main ones are:
. Possessive/Obsessive behavior
. Very slight blood
. Humanized insects

AS A HEAD'S UP! This game is an interquel/sidequel/companion piece to Life Cycles that focuses on a character whose role is already meant to be a plot twist, and as such contains pretty major spoilers for a plot reveal in the original game. While you don't necessarily have to play Life Cycles first, I can't guarantee how much sense certain parts of Vulgaris will make without having played at least the Secret Friends Route of Life Cycles, so I would suggest playing that first, or watching CryptidPlays let's play of the game!

He definitely needs to let Oggie go, but I'm curious to see where the story leads after all of this.
As always, you did a great job with this! I really think you captured Bean's yandere side very well, and the art is just so cute ;-;
